A New Chapter for Archery in Port Moresby
For many years, the Port Moresby Archery Club has been privileged to call the June Valley Shooting Range home. Since our inception, this facility has been a crucial part of our journey, allowing us to practice, compete, and grow the sport of archery in Papua New Guinea.
However, as of 04th March 2025, our club will be relocating. The management of the gun club has taken a new strategic direction for its facility, which unfortunately does not align with our vision for the growth and development of archery. While this marks the end of an era, we remain deeply grateful for the time we have spent at the range and the opportunities it has provided to our members.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the gun club for supporting us over the years. The memories of training sessions, competitions, and friendships forged at the range will always remain with us.
This transition represents not just a challenge, but an opportunity. As we search for a new home, we are committed to continuing our mission of promoting archery as a sport for all ages. We invite the community to support us during this time of change and to stay tuned for updates on our new location.
Thank you to all our members, supporters, and the wider sports community for standing with us. We are excited for what the future holds and look forward to welcoming you to our new range soon.
